Photography Phreak

I love photography. Its not that I am a Pro, but clicking some shots here and clicking some shots there, somehow satisfies my urge to capture what I see, in the most beautiful way possible. And of course, the memories are always there to share.
Don't forget to click on the snaps to enjoy their enlarged version.

This one I captured ..... well obviously because I was greatly impressed by the grandeur of the structures ... strategically located atop the Raisina Hills, The South Block.

This one is captured from Topmost part of the Rajpath, just in front of Rashatrapati bhawan. The fag ends of the North block(left)and the South Block(Right) add to the scenetic beauty.

The India Gate can be seen as a tiny spot on the Horizon.

I love to call this one, Blue Beauty. Taken from RajPath, on an evening with a romantic climate.

Everybody knows the name - The Qutub Minar.
The challenge in capturing this one was that its too long to fit in a shot from a close distance, but a shot from a distance, misses out the details.

So this is the best I could achieve, and managed to capture parts of the ruins which dot the surrounding area.

The Amar Jawan Jyoti.

The Flags of the three armed forces, the Army, Navy and the Air Force flutter proudly.
The Rashatrapati bhawan is also captured as a tiny shade in the far background.

This is the, well make a guess- The Humayun's Tomb.
This is really a
majestic structure.

Delhi , the city where I loved to roam around.
Delhi ... Well Clean delhi, Green Delhi.
Shot from the Roof of my building, the greenery at the left top portion is the central delhi - Ridge.

Connaught Placeo on the Horizon.

Durga Pujo time. Idol of Ma Durga, at a pujo pandal in Delhi.

Durga Pujo time - Dashami day. Ma Durga decorated with sindhur by married ladies.

My mother here, applying sindhur to the forehead of ma durga. This is followed by sindhur khela by the ladies, although nobody is spared. Kind of bengali holi, with only the color Red! on everybody's face.

Dashami day - on way to Visarjan. Ma Durga on the way to Visarjan. Delhi's famous Lakshmi Narayan mandir forming a beautiful backdrop.

A friend of mine, victim of sindhur khela on dashami day.

Just a pic...

Just a pic ... facing the sun, leaving the shadows behind, I try to
move on and on and on ...

How far will I get, how much will I leave behind, is a story I leave for the time to tell ...

Start.

Typing at roughly, what maybe said as a good PC user's speed, words are getting churned out. As the night is rolling out and the flow starts, I believe this mechanical churning will slowly but surely give way to a more honest outburst. Final aim; the piece or machine at which I stare more than anything else on earth should ideally reflect what my mind is upto. What I THiNK.

Welcome to a new phenomenon called Blog writing. So even I thought of sharing my piece of views with the entire universe ..... err ... people with internet connections.
